Fearing Tavern by Frank C. Grace/Trig Photography
Is there something to fear at the Fearing Tavern?
Will you face the Other Side at the Old Meetinghouse?
Do spirits stalk the Schoolhouse?

All these questions and more may be answered at GHOSTS OF THE GATEWAY: SUMMER EDITION on Saturday, August 6 in the Wareham Historical District in Wareham, MA. We will be conducting a paranormal investigation of four different buildings owned by the Wareham Historical Society—the Fearing Tavern (1690), the Old Meetinghouse (1835), the One-Room Schoolhouse (1825) and the Union Chapel (1880).
Wareham is known as “The Gateway to Cape Cod” but this could be your
gateway to the world of the paranormal!
This Spooky Southcoast-sponsored night will feature pizza dinner, lectures and hours of guided investigation in four uniquely haunted buildings all within walking distance of one another. The event will take place rain or shine. It’s the first time we’ve ever had the opportunity to offer this great event in the summer, when you can come and make a day of it in Spooky Southcoast‘s beautiful hometown!
