Join Tim Weisberg from Spooky Southcoast for SPOOKY SALEM 2024 at the Parson Barnard House in North Andover, Massachusetts on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

The house was built in 1715 for Reverend Thomas Barnard, who was one of the ministers who was rumored to help fan the flames of hysteria in the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. However, historical research has proven this is not the case, and Rev. Barnard’s spirit does not seem to be happy with these false accusations –especially when he was actually working to help those accused of witchcraft.

The house itself, which at the time of the Witch Trials was in Salem Village, was featured on Destination America’s Haunted Towns, in which members of the Tennessee Wraith Chasers investigated the Parson Barnard House looking to make a connection with the reverend. Doogie was physically accosted by something he could not see while in the house. The activity in the attic is especially powerful, as the former headmaster of the boys’ school that once occupied the home still lurks up there, going after those who attempt to cross him or usurp his power over the boys’ spirits.
